Dental Sterilization Technician/Assistant
Our client is looking to add a highly motivated individual to their team! In this role, you will be a key player in the functionality of their busy dental practice. This means that thriving in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task is essential. An upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential.
You will help their practice operate more effectively by breaking down rooms after procedures, sterilizing, and resetting. You’ll also be responsible for the sterilization of instruments in their dental lab. You may be tasked with seating patients and escorting them to the reception area when their appointments are over. This role requires no previous dental experience and has opportunity for advancement.
Responsibilities:
· Prepares, de-contaminates, and disinfects instruments following established infection control protocols
· Tray set up and instrument sterilization
· Cleaning and setting up rooms
· Restocking rooms and maintaining inventory
· Monitors, cleans, and generally maintains the dental laboratory and sterilization areas
· Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
· Secondarily provides aid to the clinical team as necessary and assists the front desk with basic administrative tasks such as filing, stapling, and collating.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience in a team setting: Clubs, sports, or previous employment
· Superior interpersonal skills
· Positive attitude and professional appearance
· Fast learner
· Excels at problem-solving
· High energy and motivation to succeed!
Pay rate: $15-$16 per hour
Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 – 5:00. Three-day weekend – every week!!
Background and drug screenings required
